1970s board, brought up to date.
A four bedroom home still running ceramic fuses, with one shared lighting circuit covering the whole ground floor. We replaced the board entirely, split the circuits properly, and put RCDs on everything.
Half a day's work, power back on by mid afternoon, and the owners finally have a board they can read.
Whole home LED changeover.
Thirty-two halogen downlights swapped for dimmable LEDs across two storeys, warm white through the living areas and a cooler neutral in the kitchen and laundry.
We replaced four old leading-edge dimmers at the same time, which is usually the real reason people think LEDs flicker.
EV charger, load managed.
A 7kW wall charger into a garage on a board that was already close to full. Rather than a full upgrade we fitted load management, so the charger eases off when the oven and the ducted heating are both running.
Cable run concealed the length of the garage, app configured for off-peak charging, done in a day.
