Solar and battery questions.
Most commonly a tripped or failed isolator, a string fault, or an inverter that's been sitting in an error state for weeks without anyone noticing. All are testable. Shading from a grown tree accounts for a surprising number too.
If your walls are open for a renovation, absolutely. The cabling is cheap while everything's accessible and expensive once it's plastered, and it doesn't commit you to anything.
